Joe Nicolas
Joe Nicolas, CEO and Managing Partner of Magellan
Joe is responsible for Magellan's strategic planning and
operations. He supervises technology implementation and
applications, and all search and recruitment functions.
Joe came to Magellan following his work at a Big Four accounting
firm and an executive search agency. His professional career
started as an associate at PricewaterhouseCoopers, one of the top
four professional services firms in the world. He then went
on to work at a regional staffing agency specializing in accounting
and finance, where he earned several distinctions, including Rookie
of the Year. In 2005, Joe joined Matt Kenefic to help grow
Magellan; two years later Joe officially became Partner. Joe
graduated from Drexel University with a dual major in Accounting
and Management Information Systems. He is involved in several
professional organizations, including the Pennsylvania Institute of
Certified Public Accountants (PICPA) and the Business Volunteers
for the Arts (BVA).
